At the end of each month, I like to review one book that I read for that month and highlight it as my “book of the month.”

The book I choose for each month is a book that I enjoyed and found helpful, and one that I believe you too will enjoy and find helpful (hence, that’s why I share it with you :) …)

For the month of May, one of the most helpful books I read was Dave Ramsey‘s The Money Answer Book.

In The Money Answer Book, Dave Ramsey explores some common questions and misunderstandings people have about money in a short, concise, easy to read book. The book is written in a Q&A type format, so each page gets right to the point.

Topics from savings and investings, to real estate and insurance, to student loans and budgets are ALL covered in this book, PLUS some!

Ramsey makes a point in the book that, “Personal Finance is 80 percent behavior and only 20 percent head knowledge.” With that belief, Ramsey gives practical, straightforward, honest advice on how to act wisely with your money.

It is a book I found VERY helpful, especially as a college student who hasn’t had much finance training. Even if you aren’t in college, I believe that you will still find this book helpful and enjoyable.

It is an easy read and packed with fianancial wisdom from one of the world’s best financial experts. Definitely go and read it!

You can pick it up here from Amazon for about $10!

Note: Dave Ramsey’s website, www.DaveRamsey.com, also has TONS of financial wisdom, advice, and resources for you! I’ve found Dave’s books and website to be extremely helpful. Check it out! :)
