Think it’s too late to learn a new skill and/or become successful? Think again. Here are 15 successful people who learned a new skill later on in life, and became successful.
Props and credit to Funders and Founders for this great infographic and research:
And if that isn’t enough motivation, check out this data on the age of some of the most successful company founders.
The age? 35.
Looking at the biographies of top 100 founders on the Forbes List shows that 35 is the most common age to start one of the top companies in the world. We excluded the companies that were inherited from previous ones, and the companies where governments were heavily involved. For example, one of the largest companies in the world is Agricultural Bank of China. It was founded by Mao Ze Dong while he was the country’s chairman. This types of founders we excluded, to make sure the list only contains self-starting founders.” – Anna Vital
No matter whether you’re 15, 25, 35, 55 or older, don’t give up on your dreams. Not trying is a sure path to failure. If you go after your dream, you may very well achieve it, even if it is later on in life.
