Pictures are one of the most important elements in a great blog post, but can often be the most difficult to find.
The solution? Take your own photos.
Not only will this allow you to showcase your creativity and skills to others, but it will take less time and keep you from any potential legal issues (such as forgetting to give credit to the source of your borrowed images).
Along with using your phone’s camera, you can also utilize some sweet apps to make your photos look more professional and appealing.
Here are four mobile apps I use for my blog posts (most are available on iPhone, Android, and Windows).
Four Mobile Apps for Awesome Blog Post Photos:
1. Instagram
You probably already know about Instagram, but have you considered using your Instagram photos for your blog posts? With Instagram, you can edit your pictures and make them social – a double bonus!
2. Over
Want to put text on your photos, in fonts that are legit? Use Over.
3. AutoStich
AutoStich lets you create panoramic photographs. It’s very slick and fun, especially when you are trying to get a wider photograph from your phone.
4. Picframe
Picframe lets you make picture-frames out of your photographs, and then save and/or share them.
*Honorble mention: Snapsneed. This app is popular, but I personally am not a fan of it. You might like it though, so try it out and see what you think.*
Questions: How do you prefer to add photos to your blog posts? Do you use mobile apps for pictures – and if so, which ones do you use? Please share with us in the comments below!

Good call on the Over app. I would also add Instapicframe to your list. It’s pretty good.
