Have you ever not done something that you later regretted and wished you had done? Me too, and I’m committed to living the rest of my life with no regret.
To avoid life regret, I went around and asked family members, friends older than I, and coworkers what advice they have for younger people (20s and early 30s). Here’s what they said.
“Take more risks. ESPECIALLY while you’re young.”
“Really know who you are before getting into a relationship.”
“Be open to advice from others but don’t let it derail you from pursuing your dreams.”
“Travel the world, as much as you can. That’s my one regret in life – that I didn’t do that.”
“Get in the habit of saving money. Automate your account so that 10% of what you make is stashed away without you noticing.”
What about you, what advice do you have for younger people? Please share your thoughts in the comments below. Oh, and if you haven’t checked out the The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying, you NEED to read that post as well if you don’t want to come to the end of your life with dread, regret, and disappointment.

Great post, as always. My advice to the young would be to build a strong foundation in Christ because in this world there WILL be trials. It seems like there is one hurdle after another. So the more rooted you are in your faith, the more able you will be to handle life’s hardshios.
