“How did you hear about us?”
A simple question that yields massive insights.
When you know the answer to this question, you understand what marketing channels are (and are not) effective.
“Is social media working?”
“What channel produces the greatest customer lifetime value?”
“How are peopling hearing about our church?”
“Is there a return on investment here?”
All of these questions gain answers when you know how your customers and audience originally heard about your organization.
It’s a simple question to ask, and a simple answer to keep track of. (Use a free Google Sheets spreadsheet if you don’t use a database). Is your organization asking it?
